Listed below are the sizes of the commercial business recycle bins being provided by TriWays Disposal Services Ltd., and the monthly prices that will be charged to the business on their Town of Elrose utility invoices. This cost includes continued access to the 30 yard Recycle bins located at the end of Main Street.

3 Cubic yard container
6ft across the front x 3.5ft deep x 4ft loading height – holds about 25 bags
Service Frequency and Price:
Service once every 4 weeks – 13 empties per year – $46.00 per month

4 cubic yard container
6ft across the front x 4ft deep x 4 ft loading height- holds about 30 bags
Service Frequency and Price:
Service once every 4 weeks – 13 empties per year – $58.00 per month

6 cubic yard container
6ft across the front x 5.5ft deep x 5ft to a loading height – holds about 40 bags.

Service Frequency and Price:
Service once every 4 weeks – 13 empties per year – $85.00 per month

If the commercial businesses have the bins delivered as a group, then the 3 and 4 yard bins will only cost $40.00 each for delivery and the 6 yard bins will only cost $65.00 each for delivery. These costs will be charged to the business receiving the bin(s).

3 yard, 4 yard, and 6 yard bins that are delivered after the initial “group” delivery will cost $120.00 each to be delivered. Delivery charges will be billed to the business.

No Charge if Disposed of/Sorted Correctly
– Bagged household waste
– Metal – must be put in the metal pile
– Clean Wood – must be put into the wood pile
– Branches and trees – must be cut into three foot lengths and put into the wood pile

Asphalt and Concrete: $30.00/cu. m.

All loads must be sorted prior to dumping. Unsorted or “Dirty” loads will be charged at 5 times the rate and the person will be banned from the transfer station.

Non-accepted Waste Materials:

– Vehicle and/or Tires
– Recyclables such as paper, cardboard, and electronics
– Animal Manure (feces) or liquid waste
– Animals (deceased) or slaughterhouse waste
– Grain or screenings
– Chemical, herbicide or pesticide products or containers
– Petroleum waste including oil filters, oily rags, oil containers
– Hazardous waste or radioactive materials
– Paint, paint thinner, or paint remover cans unless they are empty and dry with lids off
– Demolition waste materials
– Propane Tanks

Refuse created from the demolition of structures will NOT be accepted. The owners (or the owners’ contractor) will be responsible for renting their own waste bin and all associated costs to dispose of the materials.

Trucks larger than 3 ton will NOT be accepted. Large loads may not be accepted if a discrepancy is determined by the attendant.

ALL loads will be charged for. The amount charged shall be at the discretion of the attendant.

– Wet paint and chemicals
– Regulated waste such as tires, oil and oil filters
– Prohibited waste such as items with creosote (e.g. railway ties)
– Hazardous Materials (paint cans, aerosols, lighters, car batteries, or oil)
– Pesticide containers
– Propane tanks/bottles
– All liquids
– Dead animals
– Grain bags or baler twine
– Scrap metal
